Bring the Noise! Bring the Swarm!

So this it it! GodlessLiberalHomo created this Blogswarm and I (RickB of TenPercent) have been aiding & abetting him and today's the day. It's been amazing, to the many and varied blogs who have supported this project a big thanks and give yourselves a pat on the back. As the lack of coverage of the Winter Soldier hearings has proved, the corporate media is not open to the full extent of anti-war feeling, so this blogswarm is one aspect of new media filling the gaps left by institutions who (despite some mea culpas over their cheerleading of the rush to war 5 years ago) still feel most comfortable reflecting elite opinion. I am put in mind of two oft quoted phrases: "Be the change you want to see in the world"-(Mahatma Gandhi) & Be The Media! Combined we are doing that, we are being the media but a different media, we are enacting a change, not beholden to corporate interests or imperial objectives. A grassroots, human movement of global reach and consciousness.

And so to work! If you have time, once you publish your post, head over to here and add a comment to this post with your blog name [as listed in the index (below)] and the specific address/URL/Link location/permalink (whatever you want to call it) of your post.

What we hope to do is to publish a new post here for each letter grouping, so 26 posts - numbers, then the A's, then the B's etc- quoting your post title's and first few lines. We may not get round to doing all that and keeping up with you on Wednesday but the index below or the comment thread of this post should suffice on the blogswarm day. Consequently for posterity this will serve as a permanent index & record of blogs of this swarm.

So we hope everyone finds time to post and to look around at other blogs and see what they are saying and in the process help create an outcome to the current war that is based on respect, justice and human rights, not domination, resource control and Empire.
Bring the Noise! Bring the Swarm!

New to blogging and I'm going to post this! I retired from the Air Force in 1993 and now my son is planning on joining, while I'm trying to STOP him. I support our troops of course, but do not support this war.

I'm testing blogging skills, but heading to do this. Thank you!

Great site! It's so great to be in good company, with folk who are against this bogus "war on terror". I recently exposed the link between Robert Spencer of Jihadwatch adn teh Saudi regime. Psst, he is being funded by hte Saudis to spread black propaganda and he is in fact a Wahabi extremist. Jihadwatch are going crazy over it. I've exposed him!
